The Dean of Newark College of Engineering is pleased to invite NJIT’s family of supporters to the annual NCE Salute to Engineering Excellence Thursday, March, 27, 2008 at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack NJ. This year’s honorees include Kevin Russell of Picatinny Arsenal, Haila A. Hudson, and Joseph M Sanzari of Sanzari Companies. Be sure to purchase tickets for the event early as seating is limited. 25th Anniversary of Women's Sports at NJIT March 2008
Dear Alumnae,
I am hoping you will consider joining us for this historic event. The 2007-08 school year represents the 25th anniversary of women’s team sports here at NJIT. Although there were many women who participated on men’s teams prior, Oct 11, 1982 represents our first women’s home athletic event– women’s volleyball.

I am hopeful this event will turn into an annual athletic alumnae reunion night. A night of renewed friendships, where all of our former female athletes can come together, to remember NJIT, and spend time with longtime, and some long lost friends, while meeting our current roster of over 80 female athletes representing 9 different sports.
I look forward to seeing you on March 29th.
