Catch the highlander spirit at the annual campus-wide fall festival for students, alumni, faculty, staff and their families on Saturday, October 7, 2006. NJIT Day features live musical performances, the Highlander Games, an Electronic Game Expo, art show, men’s soccer game, and much, much more. Plan to bring the kids (or grandkids) and spend the day!
NJIT Rolls Out Prototype SmartCampus

Students returning to NJIT this month are finding themselves part of a unique campus community, a national model SmartCampus developed by NJIT researchers with funding from the National Science Foundation and Hewlett Packard. The mobile, wireless community system will allow students to locate friends on campus, find out how long the lines are in the cafeteria, and even identify new acquaintances who enjoy the same music or books as they do.
John Seazholtz `59 Earns NJIT’s Highest Honor

When John Seazholtz ‘59 takes up a task, he dedicates himself to it completely. His longstanding commitment to the university as an NJIT alumnus, benefactor and board member, as well as an outstanding professional career, was recently recognized when he was awarded NJIT’s highest honor: the Edward F. Weston Medal for Distinguished Professional Achievement by an alumnus.
