NJIT Collaborates with the Concrete Industry
To Offer New BS in Concrete Management
NJIT recently became one of four institutions in the county to offer a unique new degree program in partnership with the concrete industry. The BS in Concrete Industry Management Technology is designed specifically to address the urgent need for professionals with the skills to meet the growing demands of a
progressive, changing concrete industry. The goal of the program is to produce broadly educated, articulate graduates grounded in basic construction management and concrete technology and techniques.

Educational Opportunity Program Student Shaniqua Parker, with Associate Professor Kevin McDermott '65
Women in Technology Leadership Award, National Society for Black Engineers
"NJIT is a place for people to find themselves. Unlike many other institutions, you do not have to know what you want to do before you come here; you can figure it out when you get here with the help of advisors and upperclassmen. My activities at NJIT have helped me grow and develop, and I have made it my goal to inspire and motivate those around me to take hold of their life and live it to the fullest."

Albert and Joan Dorman Challenge Alumni, Parents and Friends
Albert Dorman '45, the founder and inspiration for Albert Dorman Honors
College, is once again challenging the NJIT community to secure the future of this important program. He will match support from Honors College alumni,
parents of Honors students and NJIT faculty and staff, up to $200,000
toward the Dorman Honors College Scholarship Campaign. Each gift will
become twice the investment for NJIT’s students.
